Gregor Gucwa fullførte “The World’s Toughest Foot Race”
Postet av Romerike Ultraløperklubb den 26. Jul 2018
- I’ve managed to make a photo with the group of extraordinary people who chose to spent 45 hours in the car, somewhere in the Death Valley desert so I could keep chasing my dream. They had to jump out of the car over and over again into the heat which can’t be described, taking care of their runner so the heat would not kill him.
We run through the desert and we came all the way from Badwater Basin and up to the Mt. Whitney portal.
Those heroes are Megan Stewart NZ Gunnar George SE Andreas Gossner NO and Scott DeVona USA.
I’ll never be able to thank them enough for being there, with gallons of water and ice, good word and precious conversations on the miles long ups and downs.
Megan, Gunnar, Andreas and Scott, thank you so much for being out there together with me and huge congratulations to all of you.

Fra Gregors hjemmeside 13. juli - før løpet:
- The Greatest Race Director ever! It’s been a huge honor to meet Chris Kostman, The Badwater135 Chief. I’ll never be able to thank enough for creating this race and for keeping it on such a high level. I’m grateful and humbled for becoming a part of it and having a chance to push my limits far beyond what I thought is possible.
